The Marine BioBank is a core infrastructure of the marine bio-industry that discovers useful materials that can be industrialized from marine organisms resources and provides sales or information to industry-academia-research-related consumers who need them. Starting with marine extracts in 2018, we are operating four resource banks, including marine microorganisms, marine genetic resources, and marine microalgae. In December 2022, based on the efficacy evaluation(whitening, wrinkle improvement) of marine extracts expanded the cosmetics bank. The Marine BioBank strives to strengthen quality management capabilities and enhance external reliability by establishing separate facilities and equipment and maintaining ISO certification every year. In addition, efficient relationship between marine bio-related entities by establishing a collaborative system and activating communication, we are supporting the development of marine bio-industry research and industrialization results.
