The Korea Food Cold Chain Association was launched on May 20, 2014 with an establishment permit from the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. The association, which was launched as a successor to the existing Agri-Food and Low-Temperature Logistics Research Association, was established to maintain food quality through safe, fast, and accurate logistics based on maintaining an appropriate temperature, and furthermore, to preserve human food safety and health, and eco-friendly financial resources. Currently, it is composed of about 70 corporate members, individual members, and expert committee members.
